Our mission

As a think-tank, the mission of ISSR is to contribute to the promotion and protection of the national interest of Nepal and provide strategic inputs to the government and the private sector for the socio-economic development of the country.

Objectives

The objectives of ISSR are as follows:

  • Help develop sound policies in the larger interest of country and people by generating and disseminating research-based knowledge.
  • Enrich public opinion by providing a forum for cross-exchange of ideas; professional discourses; sharing and dissemination of research findings from national and regional perspectives. ·Build collaborative partnerships for research and studies at bilateral, trilateral, quadrangle, sub-regional and regional levels on pertinent issues.
