Media Story Series on Access to Justice

12 research articles prepared under the ‘Access to Justice’ project undertaken by the ISSR are published on Khabarhub.com.
While the country is practicing federalism, it can be felt that the people’s government is becoming a local government based
on the article prepared by researching the access of justice to the public at the local level. The article was prepared by selecting
12 districts that represents the country.
The topics for articles are:
1. The role played by the Judicial Committee at the local level
2. The role of legal aid providers at the local level
3. Problems and support during COVID-19
4. Violence against women and ethnic harassment during COVID-19
Three each research articles were prepared on these 4 topics. These articles covered the overall work done by the local
government, justice obtained by the people, work done by the people’s representatives to make justice accessible to the people,
work done by people amidst the scourge of Corona virus and the initiatives taken by the local government to manage the
unemployment problems along with future plans and strategies. Further, the trend of Corona Virus (COVID-19) spreading
around the world is also covered in the articles
